Experienced orthopaedic staff nurse required for busy growing 22 bedded Orthopaedic / Neuro unit. We are an exciting and friendly team, we require a dynamic senior staff nurse who is willing to grow clinically and managerially. We envisage an initial period of about two months orientation at ward level, before transitioning into a lead nurse role for orthopaedics. You will work closely with Consultants, Secretaries and Patients and be a point of contact for Patients following discharge.
General
Responsibility:

This purpose of this role is to develop and grow an excellent clinical service to Orthopaedic patients. You will need to work autonomously and in conjunction with the ward based team, Consultants and their Secretaries.
Requirements NMC Registered
Orthopaedic course or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Experience in a managerial role would be desirable.
Confident with computers.
Evidence of teaching and assessing skills or relevant experience.
Motivation to develop the role.
